This workshop runs concurrently with "Developing Biblical Sexual Formation in a Porn-Entrenched Culture." You will only be able to receive NBCC credit for one of these sessions.

This workshop will explore the stigma and misguided teachings around divorce. We will discuss ways to approach the topic of divorce with compassion, empathy, and truth. Participants will have an opportunity to gain knowledge to better support people in their communities who walk the painful path of divorce and offer them hope.

Learning Objectives

1. Identify stigmas that have been traditionally been associated with divorce,
2. Equip participants with skills to view divorce through a Biblical lens,
3. Equip participants with tools to practice empathy and compassion,
4. Help participants develop a safe community for people walking through divorce

In order to receive continuing education credit, your attendance will be recorded and you will be required to complete an emailed evaluation of the seminar and presenter.

Participants who attend "Divorce is not a dirty word" will receive 1.25 NBCC clock hours of continuing education.
